 this is just a question, what do i have to do to get comments on my stories, as i dont get much

All you have to do is ask! I don't get many comments, either. I don't think anyone really does unless they have a close knit circle. There are SO many stories here and so little time--for everyone. Plus, I think a lot of people feel self conscious commenting on a stranger's story. Anyone else reading this have any ideas why there are so few comments going around?

i think AuroraBorealis is right, in that many are self conscious and don't leave comments. Sometimes the story appears more like a statement and comments are not seen as necessary. Other times folks are touched (one way or another) and don't have the right words to say. i feel lucky when i receive them but understand if folks don't. i wouldn't worry about it, continue to write and say what you need to say.

Ditto the above, and it helps to comment on other people's stories. That way they get to know you a little better and will likely return the favor.

Just write. People will comment with time and familiarity. Also, if you want immediate feedback, as others have noted, ask for it. Also, go out and comments on other stories and increase your circle of friends so that others will e your activity and be more predisposed to make a comment on your story.
